Stairs to Heaven
A tunnel, a driver, a few creative minds, and plenty of time to experiment. This image was created on La Palma in a tunnel designed to protect the harbor from monster waves. Due to its unique location and construction, the tunnel offers constantly changing light scenarios from sunrise to sunset. The idea here was to have the driver, enclosed by shadows, essentially break the rhythm of the shifting light and shadows, thus bringing him back into focus.
